The NCAA Transformation Committee voted in January to eliminate the distinction of volunteer coaches and allows additional full-time coaches. For hockey, that means that teams now get four full-time coaches. MSU made Brad Fast its fourth full-time coach. The program also hired Mike Porter to replace Barbara Powers in her Director of Hockey Ops role. But Porter is Director of Player Personnel.
