Sorry, but the PAC 12 is far and away the best conference for QB play. Yesterday you had a heavyweight championship with MP and Bo, both played lights out. Last night DJU had a big game against UCLA, and Fafita, who is about to Wally Pip, DeLauara has completed 75% of his passes against 3 ranked teams. He is listed at 5’11” and 190 but he looks closer to 5’9” and 175 but is a flat out gamer. The thing is the original starter played well, but Fafita has IT, he is a winner. As a freshman he lost to Washington by a TD, and to USC by 2 in triple overtime, and soundly beat a good Washington State team. By the way, this Williams kid is pretty good for ZuSC too. When you look at the SEC their best QB came from the PAC12. Top to bottom neither the SEC nor the Big 10 have anywhere near the same level of talent as them.

MSU has had a couple of guys in the system for a while who were higher ranked than Fafita but look lost against better teams. Coaching and player development are sorely lacking. MSU must burn the whole structure down like Prime and start fresh. Like Prime it is going to take some time but keeping some sycophant like Barnett around in any capacity allows the infection to spread and continue. Not everyone is going to work out like Fafita, but we continually have guys underachieving on what CMT said was by far his most talented team.
