On Aidan Chiles:
“So far he’s been great, coming up and watching tape, going about his process.
“I think that’s his floor. I think he only has room for growth.”
He thinks Chiles might have been pressing when things weren’t going well later in the game.
On Jack Velling:
He wants to get Jack Velling more involved. He was the first read on multiple plays, but FAU did a good job of taking him away.
On Alante Brown's injury:
“That’s a big loss; he has been practicing really well.” ----Added Nick Marsh, Aziah Johnson have a chance to step into Brown’s role.
On the Offensive Line:
Specifically, OT rotation: “I think we’ll continue to do that and get a feel for it…We feel really good about all three of those guys (Ramil, Baldwin, Lepo).”
On the Offense as a whole and WR issues:
“Aidan gets a lot of the attention, and there’s a lot of stuff he can clean up, but it’s the offense as a whole.”
He points to technique and timing issues from WRs as something he’d like to clean up.
“It was a disappointing performance on our end, but I think the guys had the right attitude coming back on Sunday.”
