FOOTBALL MSU LB Cal Haladay: 'We don't need to be heroes' against rival Michigan

While this is the biggest regular season game of the year for Michigan State, the coaches are reminding the team that they just have to play within their means. Each player doesn’t need to do anything special for them to win the game.

“Coach talked about (how) we don't need to be heroes,” Haladay said. “We just need to go out and do our job and stay disciplined. That’s kind of what the big focus of this week’s been.”

I saw something about Tuttle and Will Johnson both sitting out of practice this week. I also saw some stuff out there about Johnson opting out for the rest of the year. Does anybody have anything more solid on this? I don’t see how we don’t rack it up on their secondary if Johnson doesn’t play. I kind of hope Tuttle plays, because I think some crazy game plan with Orji running all over the place gives them the best chance of winning.
