which class will be better?

The 2009 class had a total of ten 4 stars. 2 were rated 6.0. 2 were rated 5.9. 6 were rated 5.8. The class had ten 3 three star recruits. 3 were rated 5.7. 3 were rated 5.6. 4 were rated 5.5. The class had 3 two star recruits. 2 were rated 5.4 and 1 was rated 5.1.

So far, the 2016 class has 7 four star recruits. 1 is rated 6.0. 2 are rated 5.9. 4 are rated 5.8. The class has 9 three star recruits. 5 are rated 5.7. 3 are rated 5.6 and 1 is rated 5.5. Only 1 two star, rated 5.4.

I'm assuming the 2016 class will overtake the 2009 class from a recruiting rankings standpoint. But I remember Dantonio saying on signing day, the 2009 class was one you can win championships with. The class has been part of two Big Ten championships. Good call by the coach. I'm anxious to hear what he says about the 2016 class.

Regardless of which class ends up being ranked higher, you have to give the commits in the 2009 class a lot of props for signing on with MSU when a MD coached MSU team had yet to win 10 games or win a bowl game.
