After next Saturday, the Big Ten will have played 14 games against Power Five opponents. This is the most of any conference. The Big Ten is 3-2 against the PAC-12, 1-1 against the Big 12, 1-0 against the ACC, and 0-1 against the SEC. So far, this is not bad. It would be nice to have a good weekend though.

The Big 12 plays a total of eight (8!) Power 5 teams all year! Sickeningly, this includes upcoming games against Maryland, Rutgers, California, and Arkansas. They are 2-2 against Minnesota (W), Tennessee (W), Iowa (L), and Notre Dame (L). Of course, the match-ups are Texas vs. California, Kansas at Rutgers, Texas Tech at Arkansas, and West Virginia vs. Maryland. We can hope for a 1-3.

Anyway, for all the complaining, the Big Ten gets to make its case for being the second-best conference or the fifth-best over the next two weeks.
