Kieler- Crutches / Out Indefinitely (Probably T-3rd best lineman and key on edge)
Conklin- Crutches /TBD (Possible best offensive NFL prospect and AA)
Price - Crutches / TBD (All-time leader for TE TD catches @ MSU)
Copeland - Out Year (Was showing great signs, but not a lot of history on him to judge fairly)
Davis - Out Year (Best LB and Probably top 2-3 player on D
Heath - Out Indefinitely (Starting DT and possible future in the league based on his performance thus far)
Williamson - TBD (1 of 2 Captains on D and most experienced guy in secondary)
Throw in that a top 4 corner in Hicks had Mono and is getting back to game shape, top backup safety Myers is out for a suspension, and Bullough sat out a half for suspension. That is a recipe for disaster. It is not like we're just losing role players here. We're playing without 1/3 of our starters.
Perhaps I need perspective. We're still 4-0 and the hope is most of these guys will return by the UM game so we can field our best team there if we can get by the next 2 weeks first. At least we have adversity and that builds character. If we come out of this unscathed going into AA, I like our chances .
