..that travelled to Michigan last week-
One was a random fan I overheard talking last night (at a local festival here in Oregon). He was describing the tight shoulder room to his buddy and I knew he was talking about M stadium. So I asked him about the whole experience and mentioned that I went to the MSU game. He came up to MSU too. His first comment was "Man, that stadium..it needs work." He meant Spartan Stadium. He said their seats were terrible and the view was bad up in section 105. I was a bit taken back when he said"but there just isn't a bad seat in the Big House". That surprised me as I'd always heard the sight lines can be bad in the Big Hole.
Then this am I talked to a business partner/customer who is a big donor for OSU and she was on the charter group trip that went to the M game. She didn't go to our game. But she went on and on about how nice and gracious every UM person and fan was and how nice the game and stadium was.
No point here, other than to say it is in fact always important to be as gracious and polite as possible as fans and hosts, and that we need to remember that we will always need to keep up on the effort to improve the quality of Spartan Stadium, because our competition is always working on it, too!
Edit-
One more comment I am hearing here constantly is the love of the Spartan Unis last weekend and especially the Helmets! Over and over again..
Go Green!
