when the home/home series with Oregon was announced, I remember thinking "Oh, great. Another OOC opponent that will pummel us". By 2014, my nervousness for Oregon had turned into excitement. Then, as the seconds on the clock brought us closer to kickoff yesterday, I realized something; my anxiety for Oregon had turned into a burning anticipation for what I knew would be, win or lose, a fantastic night of football. Thank you, Spartan players, coaching staff, donors, alumni and fans across the globe for developing Spartan Nation into something that fifteen years ago I believed to be only a pipe dream. What a great time to be a Spartan!
