The DMV region (DC-Maryland-Virginia) has been a tough region to break through for Michigan State. Getting Felton Davis was big in the last class. Getting Adams could be help establish Michigan State's footprint in the area. Ron Burton has been active in the area, which is a positive for Michigan State. Burton is is from the Richmond area and has a lot of contacts in the region.
