I'm out of town and for a good chunk of the first half all I coukd get was the Chippewas radio network. Those guys dont like MSU. To hear them call it MSU was garbage and only a few CMU mistakes were holding them back from trucking us. And there was a long bit where they were mocking Geiger.
PbP: Look at the MSU kicker. Hes dancing around like a fool after making a field goal.
Color: A kicker should know his place. His job is to make kicks not call attention to himself.
PbP: Looking at the stats he is only 2-4 on the season.
Color: Well, if youre a subrate kicker then maybe he feels he needs to celebrate. Who knows when he'll hit another field goal.
It was like that the whole first half. And when our guys went down with injuries there was a "Thats a shame" that yu could almost hear the smirk on their faces.
I try to accept that local bradcasts are biased, including our own of , course. The Chips seemed almost venomous toward MSU however. Has anyone else noticed this or am I too thin skinned?
