I continue to think about seat license fees and what they look like going forward. I have supported them and paid them for many years knowing they supported the players by helping pay for scholarships, etc. As players continue to make more and more money, a few of them being in the “1%”, are you cool with average Joes having to pay to help these “poor” college students make their way through school? It is becoming an issue for me. I don’t want it to be, but am struggling with the whole concept. I did not want to give up on the student athlete concept but I have been told over and over that the “student athlete” concept is a joke. I am starting to believe that. If true, why I am paying for them to be student athletes? Tv revenues should pay for everything. This is madness.
