I caught up with St. Francis DeSales coach Ryan Wiggins the other night. Great conversation with a very good coach. Michigan State's reputation with high school coaches in Ohio is golden. When you treat kids the right way over the course of time, high school coaches are going to vouch for you.
The thing that stood out during the interview was the amount of respect Andrews high school coach had for the kids motor and the way he carries himself as a competitor. Some similarities with Vayante Copeland in that both Andrews and Copeland were dynamic running backs as well as DBs at the high school level.
