I get the call for perspective but I sure hope the coaches step back to figure why we struggle to close out games comfortably behind the scenes.
Sure they held on to win, sure there are injuries, sure Purdue was in a position to play with nothing to lose, sure momentum is huge......but this game in particular should not have been so uncomfortable.
The oline played quite well considering the injuries, so that really did not create the discomfort.
Cook was pretty efficient so he did not create the discomfort.
The RBs looked good period.
We are all appreciative of what this coaching staff has brought to MSU but they have great players to work with and it just did not put them in positions to win with any level of comfort.
