Sixth-year senior Maverick Hansen, once a two-star prospect, is the only player remaining from the Mark Dantonio era. He is also the only captain for MSU this year that has not played for another school. He talked Thursday about just how much being voted captain by his teammates meant to him.
"The fact that the guys voted me captain, it shows that they truly care and value me, and I can’t ask much more than that. I love it. It really means everything to me."
