"Boat Night" as the locals call it has always been the Biggest Event of the year in Port Huron. Sail Boat Race from P.H. to Macinac Island. My son is visiting P.H from Virginia and joining in the festivities (Drunken Party). Was way out of control in the 70's early 80's but toned down since then. Still a lot of fun but more civilized. I was there 3 years ago and had a great time.
Just curious if any of you older guys experienced the Mayhem in the past. Word was that a lot of people from SE Michigan would travel up for the occasion and get arrested. Town was crowded (100,000 reported) and Hotel/ camp grounds totally sold out.
