1st half - weren't many possessions because CMU kept converting 3rd downs. Defense was actually fine with the exception of 7 plays, 5 of which were on 3rd downs so it kept us on the field. Nicholson poor coverage, too soft on a 3rd down by Colquhoun, missed coverage on crossing route by either Harris or Frey, a poorly executed blitz, a 27 yarder on Edmondson which was a nice play by CMU, bad holding by Edmondson, interference by Edmondson with arm wrap. Offensively 17 points on 3 possessions.

CMU – Colquhoun too soft for a first down, nice design of a WR coming across the middle and while it looked like Davis lost him I think Frey might have covered the play incorrectly. Blocked their field goal
MSU – we took a shot deep incomplete on first play, got 3 first downs, play calling fine, field goal
CMU – 3 and out, good defense
MSU – very nice drive Scott looked great, TD 17-0

2nd half – defense was good with the exception of 4 plays – long run I think with Calhoun giving up the outside and then Nicholson taking a terrible angle, a pass on Edmondson with a missed tackle, a nice play design completed on Nicholson. We gave them too good of field position on our kickoffs. Mistakes stopped us our first two possessions.
MSU – bad ball by cook but then a run for 1st down, another 1st down, delay of game a pressure given up by Finley and then a bad play by Cook that also had a hold on Finley. Punt. Play calling fine.
CMU – long run with Calhoun diving inside with the backer also inside combined with a terrible angle by Nicholson, pass on outside with missed tackle by Edmondson, a really nice play design completed on Nicholson FG, 17-10
MSU – Price hold and offensive pass interference stopped us without a first down
CMU – CMU had two penalties, Central got 22 on a 3rd and 25 and we then held on 4th down with good pressure on the blitz
MSU – One first down, we then had a run stopped, a jet sweep for 4 and an incompletion
CMU – good stop – Penalties and a Calhoun sack
MSU – pass to Lyles for long gain, pass to Burbridge, pass to Holmes with a nice run, TD run by Holmes 24-10
CMU – completion, Colquhoun caused a fumble with Bullough picking it up
MSU – Started running it down their throat finishing with another Holmes rushing TD 30-10
CMU – pass rush was working but they converted a 4th down, had a nice coverage by Hicks and we then stopped them on 4th and 15 with a Cooper sack that was really a coverage sack
