Matt Coghlin's 34-yard field goal as time expired gave the Michigan State Spartans the edge in a victory over then 7th -ranked Penn State. 27-24. I think this was the 6 hour game because of lightning. Fortunately BTN gets it all into one hour.

Brian Lewerke threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns to lead the 18th-ranked Spartans in a 42-17 victory over the 21st-ranked Cougars in San Diego. This show will also reair: Aug. 22 (8:00am) This is a game Comp mentioned in his last V-Cast. I remember Comp warning us that this could really be a tough game and be ready for an upset, but we looked pretty good.
