This news is a week old but 1st I've heard of it. Stumbled on this editorial comment by CBS:
The Big Ten Network is taking its studio show on the road this week with Michigan visiting Maryland. None of this likely happens without the celebutant that is Jim Harbaugh. Captain Quirky stiffed BTN during its August campus visit. We'll see if he is impressed enough with the network hauling itself to College Park to talk this week.
What ever the reason as to "why" they are there, from what I can gather, this event should center around rallying the crowd attending the game, and be a supportive factor for Maryland. Is the BTN trying to, in effect, create their own "Gameday" ? Any chance this may be a weekly event in the future?
