Small tidbit from today's Houston Chronicle football beat writer:
(Note - the Texans are practicing this week in Virginia, against
the Redskins)

"Bullough making strong impression"

Inside linebacker Max Bullough has been practicing
with the starters since Akeem Dent is on the physically
unable to perform list. Bullough lines up next to Brian
Cushing.

Against the Redskins, Bullough has worked hard against
the run. He's supposed to fill gaps and take on the guards.
Bullough (6'3", 249) has the size to do it.

"I think it is a big transition from year one to year two",
Bullough said after Friday's practice. "You get more
comfortable playing the defense and playing with the
players. I'm excited going into my second year, because
it is a huge jump".

The coaches say good things about Bullough's progress.

"I can't say anything for the coaches, unless they say it
directly to me"', he said. "All I know is that I go out every day
do what they teach me, and what my teammates expect of me.
I feel like the team, and myself, are moving in a positive
direction".
