Well, events have certainly changed since my analysis that "Urban and JH were playing chess while Coach D was playing checkers". Kudos to Coach D.
Here are my updated rankings.-I'm thinking about an xls file to provide tabular format.
1.Urban: In a word, he is playing super speed chess. He's nailing 2017 and see 2018 top recruits ,local and national. Getting that natl title has provided additional impetus to the advantages already there.
2.Coach D: Major upgrade . He is playing speed chess and the arc of MSU recruiting on the ascent.
Win a natl title and he will be on equal footing with Urban and recruiting will get even easier.
3.JH: Still playing chess. Trying different approaches with the satellite camps, still has a 20 th ranked class without having been back in college long, But does not have the results to have moved up in CRR.
4-Franklin: Chess. Excellent recruiter, fine base. Status quo.
5-The Rest: Checkers
Bottom line, We need to win the NCAA, tough as it is, to get to the next leg up. This could happen next season, hopefully. This is rarified air, not for the faint of heart, especially for a clean program.
