Congrats to Rocky Lombardi on leading his team to a MAC championship today. Was a great athlete who threw a tremendous deep ball that never developed the rest of his game here, but a fantastic person and was extremely well liked in the locker room. He wasn’t going to beat Payton out this year but it’s great he had a lot of success moving down a level and got another starting spot. He deserves it. Beating scUM in the big house and winning a MAC title is a heck of a career!! Like JWJ, he is a guy that should never have to pay for a drink in East Lansing. 😃
