Michigan State has only eight players in the College Football Hall of Fame, but three were elected in the past five years since Dantonio has raised national attention around the program.
Between Bubba in 1988 and Gene Washington in 2011, only Brad Van Pelt was elected in 2001. Coincidence? I don't think so.
