Re-watching the Oregon game last night, I couldn't help but think that is the best looking d-line performance from start to finish that I can remember by Michigan State during the Dantonio era against a quality opponent. Joel Heath and Malik McDowell were dominant. I wasn't impressed with the center Hegarty before, but they made him look terrible.
Maybe the most impressive thing I saw was the level of play beyond the starters. Huge jump for Craig Evans between Week 1 and 2, and it was much needed. Demetrius Cooper is playing so much better now, and that is really big because it allows MSU to move LT inside more against certain teams.
Very, Very impressed with the entire defensive line. Damon Knox played very well. Evans played very well as back-ups.
