First of all, Dantonio was asked about Burbridge's injury situation. It's been reported that Burbridge missed Friday's scrimmage and has been seen in a boot. Dantonio said he is not talking about injuries and offered no further comment on it.
Also, I spotted Gerald Owens playing defensive line today. Dantonio confirmed it is his first day trying it. No further comment, other than they want to get a look at a big body athlete on the other side of the ball.
Owens has had some impressive moments this spring as the No 3 RB. Now he is getting a look at d line for future reference and also possibly as a means if lighting the fuse under him just a little bit more. He may need it in the summer.
