I spoke with Dave Warner about the competition at running back and he had some good stuff for me. My sense is that it is too early to how everything will play out until they get a good look at Delton in pads and where he's at. I think LJ Scott's going to play, I just don't know how you can redshirt him if he's as good as they say he is at catching the ball out of the backfield and running routes.
It will be very interesting to see how everything plays out. I am waffling back and forth on whether it will be Holmes or London as the starter.
I don't think anything will be settled until the start of Big Ten play if these guys continue to run well. That's not necessarily a bad thing. We'll see. Hopefully we'll know more after the second scrimmage.
