One trait that Ed has that I think Frey has shown in his games last year is the ability to get home. Our biggest key will be his growth in the mental aspect when facing the big boys like Oregon and OSU especially. He is not going to be as powerful as Ed as a Sophomore, but I think this dude is plenty strong and nasty to the point where he'd very likely start on many conference foes.
That and the fact that Spielman was a big advocate and mentor for Chris. That can't hurt. Some kids have an obsession with football. He is one of them.
