Ron Burton likes what he's seen from both guys in camp thus far. He feels much more comfortable playing Cooper at either of the two d-end spots than he did last year when Cooper was strictly a field end. Cooper is using his hands much better. He understands the defense and his role in it.
As for Sweat, he has picked up from where he left off in the spring. Big jump so far in training camp. A year in the weight room has helped. He is also learning how to use his hands to get off blocks. He is a guy that could make some noise as the back up behind Calhoun. Burton seems really excited about his progress.
