from the MSU 33?

In hindsight the answer is "no," but even before Adams dropped back to pass I wondered if Oregon would keep it on the ground and try to get a few yards. Their FG kicker has been pretty accurate -- 13/14 for his career -- and has hit a couple of times in the 40s. A run would've given Oregon an option on 4th down to go for it or try something like a 43-47 yard FG.

It would've been un-Oregon like to do something conservative, and they were on the road. What would MD have done (forgetting, for a moment, about the uncertainty with Geiger)?
