Does it really matter if we beat Oregon or not?

From a playoff standpoint, whether we beat Oregon or not, we need to run the rest of the table to have a shot at the playoffs. We all know that the playoffs goes through OSU and winning the B1G as well.

Even if we beat Oregon and lose to OSU, I don't think a non-conference champion makes the final four.

Should we look at the Oregon game like Izzo looks at non-conference games (as a way to improve and get strong competition under his belt)?
