Thanks again for the Dot Comp early Sunday morning. I look forward to getting up, making coffee, and settling in for first-rate analysis. It is amazing how coherent and cogent the Dot Comp feature is -- it is first class writing and analysis. It is "inside baseball" stuff that really gets to the heart of the what happened. It is fair and balanced -- Jim talks about the positives and negatives. I have been reading sports reporting since the 1950s; I have never read a sustained series of analyses better than these.
The only thing that comes close is Charles Einstein's Willie's Time -- a great read about Willie Mays and the Giants.
