Here's how the power five conferences broke down on the first day of the draft.
Pac 12 - 9
ACC - 9
SEC - 7
Big Ten - 3
Big 12 - 3
Very unusual for two conferences to have more first round picks than the SEC. That said, I think that pretty much goes hand in hand with what I saw on the football field last year. The SEC looked good, but not great. Man, the ACC and the Pac-12 continue to crank out NFL talent.
Interesting that Washington, a team that went 8-6, had three players drafted in the first round last night.
