I started managing data and stats for the Big Ten basketball season a bit differently last year and I am going to do the same thing this year. I have a TON of data about the Big Ten race and the trajectory of the MSU season. The challenge is that Big Ten teams play almost every single day until the end of the season. The normal reporting cycle (crunch numbers, think about what the numbers mean, write about numbers, publish article about numbers) is a little slow. Plus, I don't think that it is practical or desirable to put 15 tables and figures into every article that I write.

So, the link below is to a post that is a data warehouse. It will contain an updated figure or table for ALL of the data that I crunch on a daily basis. I plan to update it more-or-less daily, or at least several times a week. Some data changes more slowly, so some of the figures and tables will only change weekly. I will make that clear in the captions.

In this post you will find

-The enhanced Big Ten standings
-Big Ten win matrix
-Big Ten title odds
-Strength of schedule data
-MSU remaining schedule breakdown
-Big Ten Tournament (BTT) seeding odds
-BTT odds
-Kenpom efficiency scatter plot
-Overall Four Factors analysis for MSU and the Big Ten
-Four Factors analysis for every MSU conference game.

Enjoy!
