Okay, i'll say it......thru first 5 games, Cook is OFF.
I am NOT saying hes awful, nor bad, nor that i want someone else in there.
Just saying so far, he's off, hasnt been sharp.
Not sure if its chemistry w current wr group, or something to do w mindset after not being named captain, or too much preseason hype, and/or play calling not giving him chance to air it out.
But he is off....
Many of his throws have been too high and/or too far.
If anything the wr group has saved him from some ugly stats days
Think about how many great/spectacular cartches burbridge and kings have made.
Burbridge along the sideline and in endzone, and kings across the middle.
Even a couple of td passes to price were behind him and he had to adjust.
And realize how many times kings and others made leaping attempts to catch a pass while
running crossing routes across the middle.
And we all know how disasterous missing high across the middle can be.
Purdue dropped one yesterday.
Hopefully this gets cleaned up quick as the better teams that lie ahead will be stuffing the
box, and force cook to beat them.
