For Spartans that have been living under a rock (or are incredibly cheap) the Empower Extraordinary campaign announced that $961.7 million smackarooskies have been collected toward the campaign's goal $1.5 billion.
If you haven't given to the University (other than seat fees) you owe it to yourself to check out the campaign's website at http://givingto.msu.edu/empower/ to, at minimum, make you feel guilty about all the good things that other donors are doing for the University.
