The CMU offensive philosophy went right into our bend but dont break D. Cooper is a very good QB. His passes were right on target for much of the game. Our Dline not playing hard was also a factor in CMU hitting pass plays. Yes, we have to be better and we will.
Our running game was solid for three quarters against a good run defense (allowed one 100 yard rusher in 2014 and 2015) and great in the fourth.
Finley, after a rough first series, was an animal out there on run blocking and solid in pass pro.
Hicks and Arjen both played really well. Would like to see more of Hicks. He could be the best of the bunch. (Key word is could).
Purdue's offense is a lot like CMU, but PU is not very good.
Was disappointing that we had so many injuries. Thank goodness we are having these now as we can sit some people and still win games.
