Maybe some who used thread know this, maybe they don't so I will throw this out there. These 3 things are making it more user friendly for me.
1) I like that I can simply put my cursor on a thread and a small text box will come up with the first few lines, that way I don;'t have to click
2) Clicking on the "minutes ago" takes me exactly to the end of a thread so I don't have to go through a bunch of other stuff, plus I can simply scroll up and check out other responses without clicking
3) I also like being able to see the Avatar so I can look right to who I want to read.
