1) Mufi Hunt in for spring:
This is very positive as IMO MSU needs another DE for the class of 2016 and now the essentially have him. Hunt will likely redpshirt which mean he will be one of those rare guys that gets that extra year and a half before they play. Tyler Hoover was this way as was Peter Clifford to name a few...They turned out to be OK
2) Cole Kmet to Notre Dame: Great get for ND, he is a stud and IMO will be a great college TE. Right now the two elite TE's in the Midwest are Kmet and Matt Dotson of Ohio. I have a feeling Dotson will now be OSU's to lose despite the fact that they are signing 3 TE's for 2016. PSU could sneak in there, but I think it is 80% OSU.
Keep in mind UM already has a TE for 2017. He is good, but not in Kmet's class. So now MSu should be in a strong position with any other TE's in OH, MI or IND. I profiled Drew Rosi the other day and he is a player to watch, but I am POSITIVE other TE's wuill emerge. Lots of kids right now are 6'3 210 and will be 6'4 230 next summer when they are camping at MSU.
BTW, 5 years ago I saw a kid at MSU's Camp and I think i wrote about him, Trent Corney. MSU already had Paul Lang, so they were not in the market for another TE. I remember Dan Roushar working with him. It is too bad MSU did not send him over to work with DL coaches. Has anyone seen this kid?
He is still very raw, but he has to be the biggest athletic freak I have ever seen at MSU's Camp.
3) Numerous recruits will be on campus this weekend, lots of committed players but here are a few uncommitted 2017 kids to remember.

Nelson is an early sleeper to keep an eye on. Kind of is like an Eric Smith is HS, does a little bit of everything.

A many know he is blowing up.MSU has been very active recruiting him for a while. They have not offered, but I think that will happen soon. Here is my Freep article
