Watch as Michigan State does a good job in bottling up K9 for most of the '19 Pinstripe Bowl (video times below the link). Walker III finished with 24 yards on 8 carries. I think Wake Forest limited his ability because they do the read option so close to the line of scrimmage, forcing K9 to react and hit the hole at a slower speed.
