I did some checking into the situation, and it looks like my hunch was correct. It is my understanding that Michigan State likes its chances of getting a sixth-year for Clemons. For that to happen, however, he will have to graduate and enroll in grad school in 2016. So its not a done deal, but it looks favorable that Clemons will get a sixth.
