After battling career-threatening injuries during the first half of his career, Paul Lang has developed into a very dependable, and underrated tight end for Michigan State. Lang started four of the last five games for Michigan State in 2014 - Baylor, PSU, Rutgers, and Ohio State. I do not doubt that Josiah Price and Jamal Lyles will be substantially better as blocking tight ends this year. But there is always going to be work for a blocking tight end like Lang. Andrew Gleichert started almost twice as many games as Josiah Price in 2014 because of his ability as blocker. Gleichert had 11 starts. Price had six. Gleichert would have had even more starts if he hadn't been banged up to start the season.
