"An arrest for shoplifting is never good, but it gets much worse when the arrested party is a police officer. That is the situation for Christopher Pazan, a former Illinois quarterback.
The story by Tom Schuba of the Chicago Sun Times, claims that Pazan was allegedly caught on video stealing $300 worth of baseball cards from a Meijer superstore. He was taken into custody on Wednesday.
A Chicago police officer since 2015, Pazan was relieved of his duties after the arrest. He faces a misdemeanor count of retail theft and has a Court hearing scheduled on June 23rd."
