Says Corley lit up when he talked about u of m signing with Jordan.
So....when Corley talked about u of m signing with Jordan, or when the mod asked him what he thought of u of m signing with Jordan? There's a difference. His inference in the post is that Jordans are going to have a significant impact on recruiting. Is he inferring that u of m's position with Corley has improved because of Jordan's? Well, he would have to be, otherwise why would he bring it up?
Realisitically, does Jordans impact Corley's feelings toward u of m? I can't imagine it would. DC seems like a smart kid who wouldn't make a major life decision based on a brand of kicks.
Don't get me wrong....Jordans are a big deal to kids. Anybody who thinks LeBrons or KDs or even Kobes are the preferred sneaks of today's kids hasn't been in a HS lately. Or a Nike store. It's a big deal to kids......or, certain kinds of kids.
But to me, the hilarious thing here is that u of m has become the old guy with money. He can surround himself with dumb, flakey sluts because he can buy them crap. And he thinks it makes him sweet, because they tell him they love him. Those relationships always work out really well.
Anyway, I just thought it was hilarious for both the premise, and how much other posters were puffing about it.
