At 235, he's the heaviest LB on the roster. I failed to realize that.
Ed Davis is/was 230. So is Riley Bullough.
Even pudgy Shane Jones is just 234. But Frey is an inch taller than Jones.
(And Jones isn't quite as pudgy as he used to be, at 6-1, 234.)
I asked Frey if he has grown an inch since last year. He said no, but everyone asks him that.
He was in socks when I talked to him today. I think he's 6-2.
He's carrying more weight in his rear and legs too, which isn't always a good thing for speed. But some guys can carry it. We'll see.
