Watched on tape at 7 am with sound off so I didn't wake my wife. After hearing Walton and his partner at the last game, it probably was a good thing.
if we made a few shots in the first 10 minutes we might have blown them out.
Just a few comments on individual players. I really concentrated on watching a few individuals....and, of course, some really stood out.
I watched Kohler a lot on D. He is coming along and is not a liability. We saw a few of his moves on offense, too. He is going to be a good one.
It was obvious that Brooks is improving...still does things to make CTI wince. A couple shots in the first half really kept us in the game. Then late in the game he takes a charge...clap, clap.....then takes a too-quick shot at the other end. Interesting that he was in at crunch time.
I didn't mention Walker......probably don't need to. Looks like he is going to be the go to guy we've been looking for. So much more comfortable than last year.
This team is going to be fun to watch
Hauser just continues to ball. When he gets a pass at the top of the key in rhythm, count it. He also does a great job of boxing out on rebounds. I thought the blocking foul on him that resulted in a 3 point play for Oregon at the end was cheap. He was backing up as fast as he could. He also took two charges earlier in the game that were big.
Holloman is, to borrow a CMT term, relentless on defense. His feet are moving, his hands are moving. Definitely an OKG.
With the sound off, I couldn't hear commentary, but twice was showed visuals about how many injuries Oregon had. Wonder if they even mentioned ours?
I guess this got pretty long. Wonder if anyone is still reading lol.
