I see Ahmir Mitchell has schedule a press conference to announce between OSU and UM...The ironic thing is that OSU sources have been saying for a pretty long time that Mitchell cannot commit. Now some will roll eyes, but this is the case and MSU has benefited. They cooled on Robertson due to saving spot for younger Bosa. Whether he would have selected MSU or not is another story. The word I had was Mitchell could have changed OSU's mind if he looked really good at Friday Nigh Lights. However, Austin Mack was easily the best WR there. Mack is rated #43 an Mitchell #8.
The word I have is that OSU would still like Corley, but knows that is by no means a definite so they have turned up heat on Victor Benjamin.
I scouted all the WR"s pretty closely at Rivals 100.
The best 3 I saw
1) DeKaylin Metcalf (Ole Miss)
2) TJ Chase (Clemson)
3) Trevon Sidney (USC)
4) Victor Benjamin
5) Trevon Grimes (2017)
I think Corley is ranked right around where he should be. Camp's are not Donnie's thing as he does not try and grab spotlight like many kids do.
Austin Mack is right there with Donnie and the guys I listed above.
Cam Chambers and Justin Layne are great gets and worthy of Rivals 4-star top 250
Don't sleep on Trishton Jackson, he is legit and could be as good as any of the players mentioned above.
I have stated that Mitchell looks a lot more like an ATH than a WR. When he is just running a post an going up for the ball he excels, but not real smooth out of his cuts and high steps a lot. He will be a good get for UM as they can use him elsewhere and it will give them more NJ momentum. He is kind of like the anti-Brian Cole. Cole is a guy who is at WR, but many liked him at safety while Mitchell should probably be at safety.
As for 2017....I look for Kahlee Hamler and Hunter Rison to continue to rise in rankings as they simply cannot be covered at camps and combines where much of the ranking evaluation occurs. I have yet to see anybody stay with Kahlee and Hunter was the WR the DB's were avoiding like the palgue at RCS Cleveland
