I'll take the NFL player. This team is totally void of any on the field leadership. None, zip, nada, none.
My fear is that it's possible that his being a captain on some level will lead to us sticking with him too long. I know his stats were not horrid tonight, but there are just missed passes and decisions that shouldn't happen. Maybe with a young player, but we clearly don't have time to develop a 5th year QB.
I'm sure he is a great kid. Maybe he is the best we have (man, I hope not).
