Sports Illustrated is offering the opportunity to “reserve” the right to purchase tickets to multiple bowl games, Fiesta and Peach as an example, if your selected team is invited. I used the SITickets.com site to reserve 2 premium tickets to the B1G Championship had MSU went for $36. Yesterday I reserved the right to purchase two premium tickets (lower bowl sidelines) at face value ($150) for the Fiesta Bowl should MSU be invited for $32 total. If MSU isn’t invited I’m out the $32, if they are I get to purchase my 2 premium seats for $150 per ticket.
I used a similar service to attend the last two B1G Championship games MSU played in Indy. My seats were between the 45 yard lines, 25 rows up - Amazing seats! For the OSU game I literally straddled the 50 yard line and for Iowa I sat on the 47 yard line and looked over my right shoulder to see our President and her husband sitting two rows behind me. SI Tickets is new to me and I haven’t bought tickets through their system yet but it appears very similar to how this worked with the previous company the NCAA worked with to offer these “reservation” options. I have found this method to be unquestionably the best and least expensive way to purchase amazing seats to big MSU football postseason games over the years.
