I do not think that helps MSU any as getting him on campus this fall and winter might be a but more difficult. I understand the sell job IMG offers, I just think their is something to be said for playing for a good local, traditional high school program. Gateway has never had any problems sending kids to D1.
Maybe I will change my tune if my kid becomes a very good athlete. With that said, the homecoming, prom, parties, Friday nights, etc...They are things that I would never want my kid to miss. I am sure IMG has some type of those activities, but not the same.
I have a strong feeling IMG will be opening satellite schools in years to come.
