I think Jim mentioned this before, but I don't like that we cannot see the whole field now that football on TV is shown in the 16:9 ratio. With the new HD screen format you should be able to see the whole field.
Mainly, you can't see what is going on in the defensive backfield. Many are b_tching about all of the short passes and shallow crossing routes from the Oregon game. Whether you liked the strategy or not, if you watched the game on TV you had zero opportunity to see if there was a reason for the strategy because the camera doesn't show the defensive backfield until the ball arrives.
